Dental scanning and CAD/CAM - NEXT DAY DENTISTRY

From tooth preparation to the definitive restoration in one digital workflow.

  • Digital impressions using the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner. No conventional impression materials are required, improving patient comfort and eliminating inaccuracies associated with their use. Digital scanning provides highly accurate data for diagnosis, treatment planning and the subsequent fabrication of dental restorations. It is also an excellent option for patients with a strong gag reflex.
  • The digital scan provides the data required for the design and fabrication of the definitive restoration. Tooth preparation is performed under a Leica dental microscope with the possibility of a LIVE feed of the treatment. Combining microscopic preparation with digital scanning allows highly precise control throughout the individual stages of prosthetic treatment.
  • 3Shape CAD software and our in-house CAD/CAM laboratory – NEXT DAY DENTISTRY. Restorations are digitally designed and subsequently manufactured directly in our own laboratory. By integrating the dental practice with our in-house CAD/CAM laboratory, we are able, in selected cases, to provide a definitive all-ceramic crown, onlay, overlay or other restoration as early as the same or next working day. The entire digital workflow – from tooth preparation and scanning through design, manufacturing and final finishing – therefore remains under our direct control.
