Digital Dental Laboratory – NEXT DAY DENTISTRY

At Stomatologie Ujec, s.r.o., we operate our own in-house digital dental laboratory. By integrating our dental practice, digital scanning and CAD/CAM manufacturing under one roof, we maintain direct control over the entire process of creating a dental restoration – from tooth preparation and digital impression to computer-aided design, milling, sintering, individualisation and final finishing.

This integrated workflow allows us to offer NEXT DAY DENTISTRY. In selected cases, we are able to provide a definitive all-ceramic crown, onlay, overlay or other restoration on the same or the next working day.

From tooth preparation to the final restoration – digitally

Tooth preparation is performed under a Leica dental microscope, followed by a digital impression using the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner, computer-aided design of the restoration and its fabrication directly in our own CAD/CAM laboratory.

MICROSCOPE → TRIOS → CAD DESIGN → CAD/CAM MANUFACTURING → FINAL FINISHING

Because the entire workflow takes place within our practice, there is no need to transfer digital data or the restoration itself between the dental office and an external laboratory during the individual stages of production. The dentist and dental technician can continuously monitor the process and, whenever necessary, immediately adjust the design, shape, contacts or other parameters of the restoration.

Technology in our digital laboratory

  • Ceramill Motion 2 – CAD/CAM milling unit: for the precise fabrication of all-ceramic crowns, onlays, overlays, veneers, bridges and other dental restorations.
  • Formlabs 3B+ 3D printers: for the digital production of provisional restorations, dental models and other dental components.
  • Ceramill Therm 3 – sintering furnace: for the final sintering of zirconia restorations.
  • Ivoclar Programat P310 – ceramic furnace: for characterisation, glazing and final finishing of ceramic restorations.
