Preventive dentistry

Prevention is not just about looking for tooth decay. We examine every patient comprehensively, assessing the teeth, gums and bite, as well as subtle changes that may not be visible to the naked eye.

  • Microscopic examination – during check-ups, we use a Leica dental microscope with the option of a LIVE feed or Heine magnifying loupes. Magnification allows us to evaluate even very fine details of teeth, fillings and dental restorations.
  • Early detection of tooth decay – we also use infrared diagnostic technology, which can help detect certain early changes without the use of ionising radiation.
  • Digital X-ray diagnostics – intraoral X-rays are a standard part of our diagnostic workflow whenever clinically indicated.
  • T-Scan – digital bite analysis – in selected cases, T-Scan allows us to dynamically assess tooth contacts and the timing and distribution of occlusal forces.
  • 3D CBCT diagnostics – when a two-dimensional X-ray does not provide sufficient information for a particular clinical situation, the examination can be supplemented with targeted 3D imaging.
  • Digital documentation and long-term monitoring – findings can be compared over time, allowing us to monitor changes during subsequent check-ups.

The result is more than just a routine dental check-up – it is a comprehensive assessment of your current oral health and a precise foundation for planning future dental care.
